How to choose a sheet music app for band players
Sheet music apps come in two kinds: "readers" that display and organize PDFs, and "writing tools" that let you create notation. Band players usually need both, which makes choosing hard. BSN is a good fit when

FAQ
Is BSN free?+
No. It is a one-time purchase on the App Store for iPad and iPhone, and a separate purchase on Google Play for Android. The Drum, Kids Music and String packs are optional in-app purchases.
Can I keep using the PDFs I already have?+
Yes. Import them, write over them with pen, symbols and notes, cut and move parts, and turn them in performance mode. Transposed view and playback apply only to notes placed in the app.
I use a Galaxy Tab, not an iPad.+
BSN supports Android tablets. Among the other apps in the table, MobileSheets is the one that officially lists Android.
